Clean water for life Many children in the world today do not have clean water to drink. Some school children in Africa are learning how to clean water with the help of the sun. The sun can also help you to make a water cleaner. This is what you do. Mix a small amount of dirt into 1 litre of water. Pour the dirty water into a large bowl. Put a glass in the centre of the bowl. Put the bowl into a plastic bag and seal it shut. Put a rock on the plastic over the glass. Leave the water cleaner in the sun all day. Remove the plastic.
